"Ratigan Funny Farm's soap creator, Jayson Ratigan, is a former neighbor. When his folks informed us he would be handcrafting a high-quality goat milk soap scented with essential oils, based solely on our knowledge of Jayson's character we asked, "When can we start purchasing his soap?"
We knew it would be good and that was before Jayson's mom got us that first bar. Wow! It was better than we expected, and we expected a lot! Since that first bar the Ratigan Funny Farm soap line has replaced all our family member's previous "favorite" bath soaps.
We find the scents to be inviting, pleasant, relaxing and inspiring. At one time or another each of us has taken an extra bath or two just to have an excuse to lather up with this soap - it is that nice! We have never found it to be overpowering or overwhelming. We have had no issues with it ever burning the nose or eyes, let alone some kind of negative reaction.
We said 'Goodbye' to scrubbing soap scum off the walls of the shower, tub and/or sink. We said 'Goodbye' to that dry, itchy feeling on our skin after using other products containing rather harsh chemicals. What we said 'Hello' to was a clean, fresh, creamy, luxurient, soothing and worry-free bathing experience.
We have tried to rotate through all the scents, but Jayson keeps several paces ahead of us, constantly developing something new and exciting to try. He has not released a soap yet that we didn't care for. How about that? We like them all, but people have asked me if we have a favorite. Off the top of my head, some of our favorite Ratigan Funny Farm soaps include Oatmeal, Patchouli, Green Goddess, Orange Blizzard, Passion Affinity, Merry Mint, Christmas Special, Detox Bar and Dirty Dog."
